The Kawartha Lakes Soccer Club (KLSC) has initiated a ‘Graduating Player of the Year’ program to recognize and reward commitment to soccer, community, and education by providing $500 bursaries to graduating member(s) of the KLSC towards their post-secondary education.

Every year, the KLSC will reward our outstanding young player(s) who excel on the field and in the classroom and exhibit qualities of hard work, self-discipline, leadership and respect for others. The recipient(s) are selected based on their soccer and academic achievements, as well as their community involvement. 

The application and all required documentation must be submitted no later than May 15th of the graduating year and the award will be announced prior to June 30th of the same year. The recipient(s) of the award will be chosen by the Kawartha Lakes Soccer Club Awards Committee, which will exclude any Executive member(s) with a graduating player in their family from the selection/voting process and may include appointed, current or past KLSC Executive members and final award selection must be approved by the President.
