U14+ Competitive
Our Competitive program allows U14 and older players (born in 2008-2012) to represent our community while they compete against other clubs.
Our teams compete at the District Level, which is part of the Soccer for Life pathway. If players wish to pursue soccer at the highest levels (including postsecondary schools, provincial teams, or professional soccer), they would be advised to attempt to join an OPDL team as part of the Talented Player Pathway.
Tryouts: will be held in late September and early October for next year's teams. See the Tryouts page of our website for details. When tryouts are complete, we will post on the Players Needed page if we are still looking for more players for a particular team.
Cost: $650 *If the cost may be a barrier, the club can help you to access several financial support options to partially cover your fees.
Some of the features of this program include:
- Refinement of individual soccer skills and development of team attacking/defending principles and strategies
- Instruction by Ontario Soccer certified coaches
- Participation in the DRSL district league (travel for away games to locations such as Cavan, Peterborough, Cobourg, and the Durham region)
- Preseason indoor training
- Typically, 1-2 practices and one game each week during the season (this may vary)
- Participation in up to 2 weekend tournaments
- End of season awards
