Respect in Sport Course

For Parents

Since 2016, the KLSC has utilized the Respect in Sport for Parents program.  One parent of each youth indoor or outdoor player must complete the online training before your child's season begins, or your child will not be eligible to play.

Our goal with this program is to help make our good parents even better sport parents through education and providing useful, empowering tools.  We believe the Respect for Parents Program will help us to protect our players/coaches/referees, and ensure a safe environment for all of our members.  We hope that this program will contribute to more participants staying involved in soccer for a longer period of time, and keep soccer fun for everyone!

Please take note of the following:

  • the cost to take this course is $12
  • you will not need to retake the course each year
  • if you already completed this program, you will not need to retake the course at this time
  • if you have completed this program for another sport, you will need to import your certificate (or retake the online course)
  • if you have completed this program for another child, you must add the new player to your profile
