Youth Indoor House League

There have been minor scheduling changes on February 1st for the U6-U8 and U9-U11 divisions.  Please see the Youth Indoor Winter House League page for the revised schedules.


Special General Meeting 

At the AGM, we voted on By-law #1, a document designed to replace our old Constitution as we finalize the incorporation of the club.  The By-law was passed, although some of our members asked for more time to review the document in order to propose amendments to By-law #1 in its current form.  As a result, a motion was passed to have a Special General Meeting to discuss amendments to By-law #1.  

The Special General Meeting was postponed until Sunday, February 19th at 1pm.  The meeting will take place at Spectrum Centre for Creative Fitness in Lindsay.
 
The club's Directors and Officers have been working hard with the club's lawyer to revise By-law #1 to address all of our members' concerns.  We would like to encourage our members to review our final revision of By-Law #1 prior to the Special General Meeting.  We will discuss this document at the meeting and make any necessary changes, then vote on its acceptance.

We expect to hold new elections for all Officers/Directors of the club at the Special General Meeting.  Anyone considering running for one of these positions should review this Director Liability Information and the club's Director Liability Form before the Special General Meeting.

If any members can not attend the Special General Meeting, you may designate someone to vote on your behalf using the KLSC Proxy Form.  Please print and sign this form and send it to the meeting with your designated proxy.

We apologize for the delays in this process.  We believe that this postponement has enabled the club to do a better job of resolving our members' concerns.  To enable the Executive to consider any comments/suggestions about the revised By-Law, we strongly encourage members to submit their comments to the Club Executive at winterkj@hotmail.ca in advance of the meeting date. Hopefully, this will also keep the Special General Meeting as brief as possible.  We thank you for your patience and look forward to seeing you there!
